There was a mistake in my order and 1 set meal was missed. But they were able to fix it for tomorrow so not too big a deal. Disappointed with the Agedashi tofu - it was very bland with no taste. The rest of the food are good,

First time trying this place and overall I give it 3 stars for a few reasons. First, the brief interaction with the front counter associate did not feel welcoming, maybe he was having a bad day or just not in the mood, but I definitely did not feel like it was warm enough to encourage me to come back. Beyond that interaction and, more importantly, the quality and quantity of food for the price point did not feel valuable. The chicken on my rice bowl was very little whereas the rice was quite a handful and did not feel soft/fresh; unfortunately this is something I see I many restaurants restaurants that try to charge high yet serve “low” quality/quantity of food to try and balance their business bottom-line. I empathize with the difficulty of running a business, especially with this current pandemic, but that shouldn’t excuse taking advantage of a customer’s pockets unethically. The sushi roll I ordered was decent and that, as opposed to the rice bowl, felt a bit more valuable considering the price and quantity/quality ratio.

I don’t mean to sound critical, but this is meant to serve the business some real feedback in an effort to improve their approach and, hopefully, improve their long-term customer satisfaction and business bottom-line. Thanks for reading and good luck!

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and Covid protocol was excellent. This is a neighborhood gem.
